Marshall Land Rover Bedford also on board
Ampthill Festival is delighted to bring on board two major sponsors for its 2015 three-day extravaganza.
Charles Wells and Marshall Land Rover Bedford have both confirmed their participation in the festival, which runs from July 3-5 this year and is followed by the Ampthill Literary Festival later in the month.
It is the second successive year Charles Wells has taken the role of Lead Sponsor.
Emily Hudson, Marketing Manager at Charles Wells Brewery, said: “We are truly proud to once again be able to support such a great local music event. The efforts of all the volunteers involved made last year’s event a real success and it’s fantastic to hear there’s even more in store this year.
“Our beers went down a storm at last year’s festival, virtually selling out, so we’ll be bringing along plenty of our famous locally-brewed beers to headline the bar as well as showcasing our new line up of beers too this July.”
With an American theme for this year’s event, the brewery’s English/ US mash-up beer DNA makes for the perfect accompaniment for Friday’s AmpRocks. Brewed in collaboration with US East Coast brewery Dogfish Head, the beer perfectly combines the best of UK and American beer and will be available at Ampthill Festi-val bars across the weekend.
Marshall Land Rover Bedford also confirmed its place as Sponsorship Partner. As part of the deal, some of its fleet of vehicles will be used by the festival and its acts.
Phil Simon, Head of Business, commented: “We have watched from the sidelines as Ampthill Festival has grown over the past two or three years and like everyone we have been extremely impressed. Now we are a part of this wonderful story and we have big plans as part of our sponsorship.”
Richard Benson, chairman of Ampthill Festival, said : “We consider this a huge coup to get both Charles Wells and Marshall Land Rover Bedford on board.
“Charles Wells made a big commitment last year and it is gratifying that are back. In addition, we are ecstatic about the new partnership with Marshall Land Rover, Bedford – both are big names locally and nationally and we have exciting plans in place.”
AmpRocks kicks off the festival on Friday July 3 before Ampthill Proms – starring Rebecca Bottone – the fol-lowing evening. The Free Family Gala Day ends the three days with organisers confirming Chas & Dave will play a FREE gig in Ampthill Park on July 5.
Also look out for competitions and giveaways from the official Charles Wells Facebook page and @WellsBrewery Twitter account in the run up to the event as well as the chance to win tickets at selected local Charles Wells pubs.
