A fringe event for children under 8 years old is taking place in Ampthill Library from 9.30-10.30 when Four Little Hens author, Heather Trefusis, will entertain the children with stories about her four rescue hens.

Tickets are available from Ampthill Library.

The event will be limited to 30 places so please get your tickets before they sell out.

For middle/upper school children, author of The Boy in the Tower, Polly Ho Yen (nominated for the Blue Peter Book Award, the Waterstone’s Best Fiction Award and for the Carnegie Medal) will be working with our aspiring writers in a creative workshop from 10.30-11.30.

Polly will also be prize giving to our under 18 category winners at the Writers’ Competition Awards Ceremony.
