Date: Friday 29th June 2018

Location: Ampthill Great Park

Our line-up for AmpRocks 2018 will be record breaking high-energy pop group Bananarama, dance music duo Example & DJ Wire, Brit rock group Reef and local emerging talent The Kazoos.

Bananarama’s original line up of Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodwood, back together again for the first time since the glorious 1980s, are coming to Ampthill Festival and will perform from their long repertoire of high-energy sing-along hits. The appearance at AmpRocks of the band, known for their hits Venus, I Heard a Rumour, Cruel Summer and Love in the First Degree, is a UK festival first for the band and will give fans a rare opportunity to see the original line-up perform together live on stage.
Example & DJ Wire bring massive number one hits Changed the Way You Kiss Me and Stay Awake to Ampthill Park with their exciting live set. The British rapper and north London DJ pair have wowed audiences around the world including the world-famous Glastonbury Festival with tracks like Won’t Go Quietly and Kickstarts.

Brit indie rockers Reef, best known for their anthem Place Your Hands, add some raw 90s rock to the AmpRocks mix. Reef, fronted by the energetic Gary Stringer, have previously played the Glastonbury and Reading Festivals and are known for their energetic live performances. The band releases its fifth studio album Revelation in May.
AmpRocks will be opened by local Battle of the Bands winner The Kazoos, showing the festival’s commitment to developing local music talent.

AmpRocks is a unique, not for profit, boutique music festival in Ampthill. Organised by volunteers for the local community, AmpRocks is staged in the natural amphitheatre of Ampthill Park in Bedfordshire and is held on the Friday of the popular Ampthill Festival Weekend.

Please note: AmpRocks events are unsuitable for children under 12. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18. Children are to be supervised at all times

Did by any chance a grey strappy leather bracelet with sparkly beads get handed in after amprocks ? my friend lost it at some point .

And my bag of bottles of beer which was supposed to be held in an unsecured area for me to collect after the gala day but which had been ‘thrown away’ by security by 7:10pm. (Or maybe just hidden so they could keep?.......)👎 Just saying......😏 And before anyone comments that we shouldn’t have taken glass-Yes I know that now but thought it was only Amprocks where there was a no glass policy. 🍻
